Part 1 – General

Your booking with Johnson Holidays Ltd is classed as a package under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

This means you are protected by all legal rights that apply to package holidays within the UK and the EU. Johnson Holidays Ltd accepts full responsibility for ensuring that every travel service included in your package is delivered to the agreed standard.

As required by law, Johnson Holidays Ltd has in place comprehensive financial protection. This safeguards your money and guarantees that, if your booking includes flights, you will be repatriated should the company become insolvent.

Below you’ll find a summary of your principal rights under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Part 2 – Your Key Rights Under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

• You will receive clear and complete information about your package before entering into a contract.
  

• One organiser — Johnson Holidays Ltd — is always legally responsible for the proper delivery of all travel services included in your package.
  

• You will be given an emergency phone number or other contact details so that you can reach us while travelling if you need help.
  

• You may transfer your holiday to another traveller, provided you give reasonable notice and cover any additional costs incurred.
  

• Prices may only increase if specific external costs rise (for example, fuel prices or taxes), and this must be explicitly stated in your booking terms. Any change must be made no later than 20 days before departure, and if it exceeds 8% of the total cost, you have the right to cancel with a full refund. Equally, if costs decrease, you are entitled to a corresponding price reduction.
  

• You may cancel the contract without a fee if any key element (other than price) is significantly changed. If Johnson Holidays cancels your holiday before it starts, you are entitled to a full refund and, where appropriate, compensation.
  

• You may also cancel without penalty before departure if unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances occur — for example, major safety concerns at your destination.
  

• You can cancel your booking at any time before departure in exchange for a fair cancellation fee, calculated according to when you cancel.
  

• If, after departure, a significant part of your holiday cannot be provided as agreed, Johnson Holidays will offer suitable alternative arrangements at no extra cost. If these changes materially affect your trip, you may cancel without paying a fee.
  

• If the travel services are not provided properly, you are entitled to an appropriate refund and/or compensation.
  

• Johnson Holidays Ltd will provide assistance if you encounter difficulty while travelling.
  

• In the unlikely event that Johnson Holidays Ltd becomes insolvent, all payments you have made will be refunded. If your booking includes flights and insolvency occurs while you are abroad, your repatriation is guaranteed.
  

Insolvency Protection:
Johnson Holidays Ltd holds full financial protection through the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) under our ATOL [insert ATOL number].
